A college list built around your student
We get to know their academic and creative interests, personality, preferences, and hopes for college. Together, we consider programs, campus environments, admission likelihood, and family budget.
Essay reviews
Students write their own personal statements and supplemental essays. After Three Learning provides essay reviews, with feedback on clarity, structure, and specificity. Students make their own revisions.
THE BENEFIT IS IN THE FOLLOW-THROUGH
Someone to help keep it moving
Our one-on-one college counseling packages include:
- An application plan with deadlines and intermediate milestones.
- Check-ins at least once a week.
- Guidance through the Common App and college-specific requirements.
- Reviews of student-written essays, with time for students to revise before deadlines.
- Help searching for relevant scholarships and navigating their applications.
- Feedback and encouragement as students complete each step.
Let parents be parents
We take the nagging off your plate. Through weekly check-ins, deadline tracking, and follow-up, we take on the reminders so you don’t have to keep asking whether the essay is started or the application is finished.
Your student still owns the work. We provide the structure and accountability, giving you room to support your child without being the application deadline enforcer.
Some applications take more than essays
Film, architecture, art, and other programs may require portfolios or specialized materials. Some colleges accept optional creative, technical, or research submissions. We help identify each program’s requirements early, distinguish required work from optional opportunities, and track preparation and submission deadlines.
Our family experience with BFA applications and Division I athletic recruitment informs our planning. We can help organize coach outreach, visits, and additional application steps. Artistic evaluation and specialist recruiting advice should come from the appropriate experts.
What we promise
Thoughtful guidance, honest feedback, and consistent support. We cannot guarantee admission or offer special access to admissions decisions. We help students pursue their real interests and present their experiences clearly. Students do the work themselves.
